The Sun Inn Restaurant & Pub Dummer Basingstoke

The Sun Inn at Dummer is an historic Coaching Inn offering visitors traditional food brought right up to date with our gastro-pub menu, served in our welcoming restaurant.

Our bar caters for the casual diner with a choice of ales and wines.

Dishes served at The Sun are, wherever possible, prepared from locally sourced fresh ingredients.

We are family friendly with a large garden and car park.

Restaurant:

Monday – Saturday: 12pm – 9pm
Sunday: 12pm – 4pm

Bar:

Monday – Saturday: 12 noon – 11pm
Sunday: 12 noon – 6pm

About The Sun Inn Restaurant & Bar

Good food, freshly prepared and sourced from local producers, is what we do best. Our seasonal à la carte menu changes regularly so that we can bring the freshest and finest local ingredients straight to your plate.

Behind the bar, we have a wide selection of draught and bottled beers, spirits, and an extensive wine list. We are a family friendly pub with a delicious children’s menu of freshly made dishes.

In our garden, we have a secure play area to entertain the kids while you enjoy your meal or just a quiet drink.

We visited for a Saturday lunch and both the food and service were great. I had the beef bourguignon which was incredibly tender. Great value as well!

Great food excellent service 5* definitely will recommend had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely excellent, dressed and served beautifully with fantastic presentation. We came for an early dinner at 6 o’clock and it soon livened up with full tables everywhere! Service was just so great too, really polite and really attentive staff, lovely to be here! Had lunch at the Sun Inn with my wife. I had the Braised Lamb, whilst she had the Braised pork cheeks. Both meals were delicious, the chap who served us was very attentive. Excellent local beer. All I can say is Well done The Sun Inn. We will definitely return.

The menu offers a wide selection. Very prompt service and clean throughout. Staff members were very welcoming and helpful. My family and I are only disappointed that we dont live closer. Thank you for a lovely meal.
